My Friend Frank

By Alex Andy Phuong

My Friend Frank

A young life
Taken away
As a teen
I had struggled
Yet continue to endure
For my heart is pure
I express gratitude
Despite my ineptitude
And I write
To add beauty to the world
Before my own end
No need to fear death
Fear not being remembered after death
Thank you, Anne Frank
