Light Inside
Outside, the cherry blossom tree
listens to the birds with quietness.
I get to see what I need, I ask,
Is there anybody?
I know I am on the right path and
watch the green earth with its clump of trees
I can feel nature’s breath behind my back.
The trees are getting sparse, the clouds
dwindle, under earth the roots weep
and mingle with a difference.
Each leaf is a soul in tears.
Stars are falling with light inside.
birds sleep on the opaque, rock like jetty
Morning breeze touches me and I cry.
