Vacation Haiku

ocean waves of
stuporous languor --
the maid sweeps the sun deck

walking along the beach
my sore feet --
the moon wrapped in gauze

waves of high tide
crash into the balcony
and sleep

uneasy sleep beside the
ocean
thrashing thrashing
