Jeffrey Wade Gibbs is originally from the swamps of Central Florida, but has lived all over the world, including Japan and Turkey. He has recently finished a series of dystopic short stories set in Istanbul, some of which have been published in Sand Journal, the Opiate, A Minor Magazine, Eclectica, and Entropy Magazine. Currently, he is working on a memoir about his father's suicide and his family's role in the turbulent racial history of the South.
