Emma Louise Gill (she/her) is a British-Australian speculative fiction writer and consumer of vast amounts of coffee. Scientist, educator, and cat mum. Brought up on a diet of English lit, she rebelled and now spends her time writing explosive space opera and other fantastical things in beach cafes.
She's a volunteer narrator for AntipodeanSF, blogs at www.emmalouisegill.com, and procrastinates way too frequently on Twitter @emmagillwriter. Words in Curiouser Magazine and AntipodeanSF; forthcoming in Crow & Cross Keys, Where The Weird Things Are (Anthology, Deadset Press), Savage Planets, and others.
Emma acknowledges the traditional owners of the land where she works and lives, the Bindjareb people of the Noongar nation, and pays her respects to Elders past, present, and emerging.
