Tim McHugh was born and grew up in Cheltenham, PA, a town in Philadelphia. He studied Economics at Penn State but moved to Boston after college in 2021 to pursue a career in the software industry. No, he does not know how to code but often leads people to believe that he can.
Tim always had a love for fantasy and science fiction and two years ago decided to try his hand at writing the grey, complicated characters that he loves. It took him quite a lot of practice; he wrote at least five short stories that he is utterly embarrassed by and a few chapters of an ill-fated novel before he hit his stride as a writer. He is now lucky enough to have stories published here at the Piker Press, and also with a handful of other amazing publications including The Ansible Short Story Collection, and Lovecraftiana. Keep your eyes peeled because he is always writing new short stories and has an idea or two for full novels forthcoming.
