Marianne Szlyk is a professor at Montgomery College. Her poems have appeared in Beltway Poetry Quarterly, Verse-Virtual, Green Elephant, Red Eft Review, and One Art. Her fiction has appeared in Mad Swirl, Impspired, and Storyteller Poetry Review. She and her husband, the writer Ethan Goffman, live with their black cat Tyler who sometimes likes to hang out with them while they write or grade papers.
