Real Food for the Hungry Souls Please

Real Food For The Hungry Souls Please

Is it not time to cook real food,
not make-believe meals cooked
and 'eaten' by kids when they play?

Alive with excitement, vitality and courage
youngsters are a marvel when they engage
in child play

Resplendent in stimulating simulations,
they recreate their world with this and that,
thus depicting their creativity, vivacity

However, it is contemptuous and ridiculous
for adults to engage in child play when they
should be creating concrete jobs and growth

When one sees them roll citizens into toy cars,
telling them to buckle up and move into prosperity
via their created adversity , then foolery is their game!

When they pretend to put food into an empty pot,
then pretend there is electricity and put that pot
on a cold plate whilst expecting one to eat and rejoice!

When they pretend not to know between investment
and impoverishment , improvement and deterioration
then one knows they are dealing with overgrown babies!

When they call a measly drizzle that fizzled out like a spit
of a housefly an unparalleled downpour then one knows
they are dealing with clear claimants, morons and demons

If one says there is futility in their silly dreams and words
some may say one is nasty and negative, but who said
being naïve is a sign of being positive and progressive?
