From the demise of the national currency, the shortages
of basic commodities, the most expensive fuel in the world,
to a new but 'strong' currency, are you kidding me please people?

Never mind what name the new currency goes by, it is a Zimdollar,
I want to understand the wonder behind this monetary development
Is it supported by gold, or is another sick and silly joke we are tired of?

Some say the way the new currency is strong and pegged is a big question mark
They say that the economy has been drunk for years is no longer a secret or debate
But the 'strength' of the new currency could mean that our economy is now on steroids!
