When it reached its perkiest point
It was closest to the earth in orbit

Bystanders in Bulawayo were awed,
Reeling in wonder as they witnessed

One of the biggest, bubbliest and brightest
Full moons of the year, visible after sunset

On that very night a couple was on top of their moon,
On their honeymoon, hissing 'here's to my supermoon'
