Sunlight Will Reappear and Revitalize
It could be partial or fractional,
it could be far-reaching or total,
but call to mind, it is temporal.
There is a beam of hope on the horizon
on the same day the moon transitorily
stops our star from lighting our world.
Squalls, ebbs and flows are drifting echoes,
turbulent manifestations and occurrences,
yet our sorrows are not surely our tomorrows.
Life has its stippled, lunar or solar eclipses
that all beings, anywhere, anytime experience,
some stir disbelief or torment, others terror or tears.
A time, a tide, a tumult when the moon
slips away between one’s sun and earth,
that is when one’s life has a new moon.
When one’s life is in the center of the moon’s
shadow, hence it experiences a total eclipse—
by virtue of one’s sun that has been blocked.
Your life, while orbiting its earth, comes
in between the sun and the earth, and sunlight
cannot reach you, it is a totally unlit nightfall.
Nevertheless, the moon won’t block your sun’s disk forever,
the eclipse, whether total or full is not everlasting, not at all,
the new moon will come to pass, sunshine will arise again.
