Hallow's Kiss

By A. J. Huffman

Hallow's Kiss

Death's darkness splits the night
with moon's breath,
penetrating her eyes.
Embers drip from bound lips --
silence reborn.

Night's daughter rises
through forgotten time.
And offers her hand.
The touch shatters.
A glass world falls
from the flames.
