On May 1st, at 12:01 am, due to an utterly unanticipated glitch, the Piker Press went dead on us. Frantic scrambling was to no avail; we were lost in the servers of our web host with no way out.
Fortunately, the Piker Press is not just a website, not just an ezine, but is also a conglomeration of heroes, who leaped into action and bailed us out with pledges and donations.
Next week I will have another update on our status and free cyber-meatball-sandwiches for all.
Thanks, my heroes.
