Hello, writers!
The theme for the February 10 issue of the Piker Press is "Romantic Obsession with Someone Famous." Submissions should be short fiction in the range of 1000 to 5000 words, and the deadline is February 1, 2014.
Stories can be serious or silly, humorous or tongue in cheek, romantic or cautionary -- and the famous person can be anyone of fame, past or present, but nothing libelous or infringing on a copyright, please. We hope that writers can have fun writing with this prompt.
Where did the prompt come from? Oh, that. Well, there was this staff gathering and some wine, and some words, a few of which were, "You know, we haven't had a theme issue for a long time..."
