Betting Slips
These validations that tear us in half.
the paint you put on lips so stray
eyes linger past micro dresses your
hips give a jungle feel to when
you're fair game on the dance floor.
There's no double fault in being
right once but it still adds up
No dishonor in changing sides
but you never choose. betting
against both and winking at
odds that mean nothing.
To you I'm a gamble/gambler
who warms the dice.
To me you're a loser
who wins by never betting
the same way twice.
