A Victim of Malpractices

it seems to be collapsing
like a pack of crazy cards

today price hikes, shortages --
queues, loading shedding and all

does this long- raped economy
have to swallow all the trash ever?

small wonder it seems to be
failing to economize on bills --

with travelling bills bullying
health, hospitals are victimized

if this economy is cared for
why it is a comatose corpse?

the corrupt live and thrive
the poor can't even survive

as they hop from scarcities
to duplicities and uncivilities

this economy is not an enemy
but a victim of inefficiencies

it has unlivable structures
that give refuge to miseries

its fares fool and fail travelers
its banks can't be banked on

its hospitals are no longer
hospitable but horrible

its cash cashes on victims
of cartels and corruption

the price of fuel is fuelling pain
with no gain for the paying poor
