Anthem of Death
Beyond the sky, a poetry
Hangs frozen in the air
Beyond the sky, her face
Is engraved in the air
Beyond the sky, my memories
Sculpted a statue of love.
A sudden lightning struck
The statue when the moon sunk
And her face disappeared making
The poetry cry in pain.
On the earth people died and
Mass graves were dug
In New York, in the USA and
Doctors died in the hands
Of coronavirus and people stayed
Quarantined in their homes
Poetry became an anthem of death
Decrying the killer disease.
