"Mes de los Muertos"

Thank You Jackson:
Cobalt Blue, Deep Red, Lemon Yellow

Thank You Jackson:
Cobalt Blue, Deep Red, Lemon Yellow

My kind of appetizers.
Goes good with foul they say.
A glass of wine comes with the main course.
Take a taste if you dare.
It's what separates curiosity from passion.
Strong colors are my mark.
Move over, give me the wheel.
In the end it's just paint.
Or is it?

Frankie structures his words and sentences in such a way that the reader feels engaged in the world he creates. Phrases such as “ it’s what separates curiosity from passion” leave room for internal interpretation and creates an intimacy between the artist and the reader- well done! Give me more.

Frankie is very adept at creating an intimate connection with the reader - lines such as "it's what separates curiosity from passion" resonate on a deep level that is both accessible and profound. The last line "Or is it?" creates both conflict and resolution? A skilled poet for sure. Looking forward to more!
