A Breeze No Longer Sound and Sane
As fumes litter the atmosphere
We think of the greener yesteryear,
What happened to that bold breeze
Of bloom that made our hearts freeze?
We froze with glee as we raised bees and peas,
Now it’s broken by virtue of our crude squeeze,
The environment is mourning its loss of virginity,
Our knack for destruction is a distressing insanity
