Serendipity

By Giovanni Mangiante

Serendipity

Belly up towards the sun. Tranquility.
Tail thuds the ground. Quiet breeze rummaging hairs.
Caramel-flavored mouthfuls of moving sunlight.
Persisting. Existing. Cotton candy thoughts of purple.
Rosé-flowered, dream chasing childish escapisms.
Canine serendipity. Longing for the tiny space
called peace dimension.
