John Andrew Karr is a speculative fiction writer who dwells near the southern coast of North Carolina. He is married to his college sweetheart and together they have two outstanding adult children. They adopted a high-energy German Shepherd after other pack members had gone on. Somehow they inherited a cat. When not writing or at the day job, he enjoys workouts, walks, landscaping, beach time, reading a variety of genres and watching thrillers and mysteries.
