Peek of the Week 114

By Chas Wallace

Butler Fork Trail, Wasatch Mountains, Utah

This is a picture on the Butler Fork trail to Dog Lake high up in the Wasatch Mountains in Utah. The elevation at the trailhead was 7,120 ft. At the top at Baker Pass the elevation was 9,340 ft. Um, yeah we did some serious climbing with the Chef and I experiencing some serious oxygen debt. Those last steps felt like she and I were prisoners on the Bataan death march, trudging one foot in front of another determined to not let the hike get the best of us. The scenery was beautiful though.
