i'm curious as to where this is. i live in new jersey but haven't heard of it. of course, nobody has heard of everything no matter what state they live in, not even rhode island.

The Sourland Preserve is about 8.5 miles south of the Somerville Circle on Route 206. Take CR 601 South. Take this for 1.2 miles and then turn right on East Mountain road. Drive another 1.2 miles and there you are. It is a very nice hike.
