a charlatan bent on ruin.
Mesmerized by spectacle,
spellbound by twitter storms,
our eyes off the prize
as rights are stripped away.
What world is this?
Double-speak is the way;
Orwell's prophecy comes true.
While the machine is set loose,
and ideology holds sway,
the world is closer to midnight,
the clock chimes to Doomsday.
